Tinkering

Saturday-Report 'Projects'

I tinkered a bit. Some days older are these cards:

Here I finally detected preferences of photo glue for paper-tinkering (sometimes I need a bit longer...). Really to recommend, the cards become much neater and it's so easy!

Today I finished these cards:

Both series are from older 'Kreativ mit Karten' Magazine (Creative with cards), but the paper is never original (for these cards I often have to order a lot, so I make here a cut and take, what I find here in the shops) and at the second set I made a little mistake an interchanged the stickers and for the card at the top I decided to use only three motifs in one line. And the glitterstones are from my stash, too )

A new knitting project also watches round the corner. The yarn was a purchase at Anett/Selavi, it was called 'Mimose' (Mimosa). The green was so suitable for my dear friend Berit. And because she is busy learning Spanish, I choosed the Spanish version for this project, which ist also 'Mimosa'. The Foto of the modell I took from the magazine, it is the German magazine 'Sabrina' issue April 2006, where I finally found the right thing.

However I have to stitch this evening, the Easter Cards have to be finished! The Television programm is predestined for that, I hope, I will make headway. During the week I knitted more, 'Chevron-Stripes in blue' and a bit the 'North Sea Shawl'.

Souvenirs and Parcels

I allways have special souvenirs in the suitcase when I'm travelling, mostly for me, but also for dear friends and family (when I find something nice and not too expensive).
Next to some new clothes and food (last things were separated between Arne and me) there were the following:

These books are for using a tip read at Tichiro how she stores her knitting instructions so she don't have lots of magazines. I would like to adapt it, not only for knitting but also vor other forms of instructions.

I couldn't find many interesting magazines, so I just bought these two:

I think, on Lanzarote there is no shop for yarn or needlework. It would be interesting to find out, where the ladies on the Saturday market in Haria buy the yarn for their articles (there it is only allowed to sell articles/procucts which are selfmade or selfproduced, the market is small but very nice and worth to visit) but I think we have to visit after years again Gran Canaria. There is a shop in Las Palmas. I would find very interesting to visit, 'Palacio de Lanas' (besides the fact, that it would be interesting to see the changes on the island after nearly ten years of absence).

Here at home three parcels waited, send to my parents.

Sewandso
Articles for two special Easter cards (blue and green) in cross stitch

Angel Yarns
Part-Delivery 'Rowan Felted Tweed' for mittens

Here I expect another parcel with a third colour and some strands Rowan Summer Tweed to add them to the existing ones. Five where not enough to start something useful from it.

And last but not least

Tausendschoen
Discontinued Colours 'Liebesperlen (Hundreds and Thousands)' 6ply and 'Amethyst'

Eastercards

The last days of my vacation and the last weekend I made a lot of cards. First of all the Eastercards. Very early, I know, but Arne put this bug into my ear and so I'm realising it. Not so much stress in March

The cards on the first photo are for parcels, the other ones will be send as cards by mail.

I also planned some more cards and bought a lot of material for them (paper for example).
